Because we know the sale of a property is very important to people and making the decision to sell in the first place was usually not easy, an Owner would be expecting that the sale process could be quick and trouble free.
The last thing anybody really wants or needs is someone promising on something that they won't or simply can't deliver just to get a seller's initial business.
If the wrong guidance is received or the wrong marketing strategies implemented, then more often than not, the property will just sit on the market for an extended period of time. Eventually if left unattended, this will cost the Property Owner financially and even worse, the loss of buyers'.
Ask yourself; do you think this Agent is campaigning for your initial business with your best interest and personal needs in mind or, is this Agent simply calculating how much commission they will potentially receive if they can somehow convince you to sell through them.
WARNING… Be careful of Agents who give an unrealistic sale price expectation or an inadequate marketing strategy for the property to start with, just to win your business!
How often do we hear of someone we know, being pressured by an Agent into accepting a offer lower than what they originally wanted or were originally lead to believe achievable, usually by the very same Agent that first raised their expectation when first they met just to get their business.
